Do you know your local farmers?

Do you remember the last time you went out to the family farm? Do you know what farm your milk and meat come from? What about your vegetables? Even your non perishable foods and food in your pantry take a farmer.

You grew up surrounded by fields and old barns. How many of those barns are empty and emit even completely gone today? I don’t want that to happen to my farm.

That is why I started my herd share, trying to save a small piece of history and family legacy. Going from commercial dairy to raw dairy has been an eye opening experience mostly because I now need to build an even closer relationship with you, the consumer.

I have to build trust. I have to be consistent. I have to be transparent. That is why I am on Facebook, to share my story and show you exactly what happens on my farm.

I may still be learning how to navigate this new adventure, but thank you for being here and I hope you will someday trust me to provide your family with fresh milk and meat.
